In 2010 IKD introduces the new Rotax State series. The series will include NSW, VIC, QLD, SA & WA.
Each series will be conducted over four or five events and will provide a high level of Rotax racing, true to the winning formula of Rotax engines and MOJO tyres.

Classes that will be offered by the host club at each round are:
Junior Rotax 145kg
Rotax Light 160kg
Rotax Heavy 180kg

These classes are to be run as per the Rotax classes in the AKA rule book on MOJO D2 tyres. A Junior Rotax 160kg, Rotax Over 35s 170kg & DD2 class can be offered by the host club but are not compulsory.

IKD will be providing a free engine to each series. This will be given away at the final round by way of random draw. The winner can choose a Junior or Senior Max engine. Each person who enters an event will be given a ticket in the draw for each round that they compete, therefore the more rounds you race, the more chances you have to win the engine.
IKD will also provide 1 set of MOJO D2 tyres that will be given away at each event by way of random draw at the drivers meeting.

Host Clubs will be encouraged to send the results to IKD for inclusion in the National Rotax Rankings.

This new series will be a fantastic Australia wide opportunity for Rotax racers and reaffirms IKD’s commitment to support Rotax racing in Australia. Racing the series increases the
ability for racers to boost rankings points and ultimately increases the chance of winning a spot at the Rotax Max Challenge World Final.

You do not need to register for the State Series.

There are great additional initiatives for WA and SA Rotax Racers for racing the Rotax State Series. If you buy a new engine from a SA or WA dealer and race at a minimum of 4 rounds of the State Series, you will qualify for $500 cash back from IKD at the conclusion of the State Series. To qualify, you must be registered with IKD via the Cash Back Claim Form and must race the State Series in the same state in which the engine was purchased.
In addition, any SA or WA owner of a Rotax engine already, can register to qualify for a free set of MOJO D2 tyres at the conclusion of the State Series. Competitors wishing to qualify for this offer must send the MOJO Tyre Claim Form form to IKD at the end of the series and must have raced a minimum of 4 rounds of the State Series in which they live.

Both offers are limited to 1 claim per customer and a customer can only claim one of the offers i.e. if a customer already owns a Rotax engine and also purchases a new Rotax engine they can only qualify for either the $500 cash back or the MOJO D2 tyres, not both. Redemption of the $500 cash back or free MOJO D2 tyres is subject to confirmation that you have raced the required 4 rounds of the State series. This will mean that host clubs for the State Series will need to return results to IKD for inclusion in the National Rotax Rankings.

This offer represents a fantastic incentive to race a Rotax in 2010 and makes racing a Rotax even more affordable.
