Race to the World Finals in full flight.

The Sparco Rotax Pro Tour is nearly at the halfway point of the 2019 Season and it’s safe to say the race to the Worlds is definitely in full flight. With Round 3 just over a month away you still have time to take part in a series that offers unmatchable prizes and a second to none atmosphere.

Drivers from across Australia and New Zealand travel up and down the East Coast of Australia competing against the best of the best with one common goal – a ticket to the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final (RMCGF) which will take place in Sarno, Italy on October 19 – 26. Going into round 3 it will be the following drivers looking to extend the points lead while battling it out for the second blue plate of the year.

CURRENT POINTS LEADERS

Micro Max - Jaxson Burns
Mini Max - Costa Toparis
Junior Max - Luke Pink
Rotax Light - Pierce Lehane
Rotax Heavy - Lane Moore
DD2 - Jonathon Marcusson
DD2 Masters - Kris Walton

The six round National Series presented by Sparco offers drivers a range of racing formats throughout the year. Our drivers contest a total of more than 450 racing laps with the exception of our youngest racers, Micro & Mini Max who race wheel to wheel for over 370 laps across the season. With some rounds boasting additional heat races and the amount of racing our Rotax drivers are circulating it’s no surprise when we greet the world stage we are a force to be reckoned with.

We are pleased to have Sparco, Electro Industries, Mansons TCLM, CRG Australia, AWC Motorsport Academy and DPE Kart Superstores on board for the 2019 Season. Without the support of these businesses we wouldn’t have the ability to LIVE STREAM the finals day action directly to our Rotax Pro Tour YouTube channel for our friends, family and supporters at home who are unable to make it trackside.

Entries to the third round of the Sparco Rotax Pro Tour are now open and will close at Midnight Friday 19th April. Ipswich Kart Club host the first night race since 2014 and are excited to be welcoming the Rotax Pro Tour back for yet another year. The event will be ran over Thursday, Friday and Saturday with finals being contested under lights Saturday night. A full timetable will be released on Tuesday 23rd April.
